British band Carcass have announced the release of a new EP, and have already shared a new track with fans, "The Living Dead At The Manchester Morgue".

The EP, titled Despicable , will arrive on streaming platforms on October 30th via Nuclear Blast, and comes as a consolation for fans eagerly awaiting the band's new album, Torn Arteries , originally planned for release on August 7th but postponed due to the pandemic.

“Well, the COVID situation put the release of the new Carcass album on hold during this time,” says vocalist and bassist Jeff Walker . “Considering we said there would be new music in August, we thought it would be cool to have a release in this interval and let you hear some tracks that never made the cut. Don’t say we never gave you anything. Enjoy.”
